Melody discovered yoga in 2000 after the birth of her first child. Through consistent practice, lessons learned on the mat began to naturally weave themselves into everyday life, opening a feeling of being more present and mindful. After years of practice it felt time to share with others what Yoga had to offer. Melody began teaching in spring of 2015 after completing training in Simsbury where she lives with her two children. She continues to be a student first, further exploring and learning as much as possible through trainings and consistent practice.
Melody’s hope in leading students through breath centered movement is that others can gain the sense of connection to self and the present that Yoga has enhanced her life with. She leads a fun light class with open dialogue and humor.
