“Our happiest moments as travelers always seem to come when we stumble upon one thing in pursuit of something else” Lawrence Block
Each day we will open our bodies, breath and mind with morning Meditation and Yoga. Our days will be full drinking in the beauty of the culture and the magic of the land. I want to allow plenty of quiet moments to ponder and connect to the pulse of this sacred land.Day 1:We arrive in Cusco, then transfer to the Sacred Valley of the Inkas to rest and adjust to the altitude. In the afternoon we will meet with the shamans who will guide our fire ceremony this evening. We will enjoy a farm to table dinner with one another Day 2:Today we go to Moray, “The Belly of the Mother”, and with the Q’ero shamans we will create a despacho for connecting to Mother Earth.Day 3:Today we will journey to the ruins of Ollantaytambo. We will do a ceremony in the Naupa Iglesia, the old temple and receive the first carpay of the Pampamesayoq. This is a beautiful and powerful place to begin the path of the Inka tradition. Later in the afternoon we will continue to Machu Picchu. Day 4:This morning we will explore Macchu Picchu, the “City of the Inkas”. This mysterious site has fascinated tourists and scholars since its discovery in 1911. Machu Picchu is an incredible marvel of architectural design and structure.
