Lauren's practice began ten years ago and has been an integral part of her life ever since. Having found time spent on the mat deeply enriching the rest of her life she is constantly exploring the interconnection between practice on and off of the mat. Lauren compassionately challenges students physically and mentally in hopes of offering yogic techniques for them to carry with themselves for a more peaceful everyday life. The use of the breath as a way in which to combat stress and move towards a more fully present experience often has a strong presence in Lauren’s classes. Working to make yoga accessible for everyone, poses and flows are modified to meet all students’ needs. Lauren hopes that through sharing her joy and love of yoga, others may gain an enrichment in their own practice. Lauren is certified to teach in the Kripalu tradition.
