Yoga Nidra, also known as “yogic sleep,” is a guided body awareness meditation where students are led to a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. During Yoga Nidra, the body becomes extremely relaxed as we move towards an internal sensory experience, while the hearing remains connected to the voice of the teacher. Yoga Nidra is a great way to reduce stress, anxiety, and over all tension. This workshop will begin with a very mellow gentle/restorative yoga practice to open up and relax the body, followed by Yoga Nidra.
