Meditation & Mandala Making: Nourishing Sacred Silence & Creative Expression

with Elisabeth Moss

Saturday, February 20
1-4:30 p.m.
$48, includes all art supplies
Bring a yoga mat, as we will be meditating and creating on the floor.

Through guided silent meditation we will open to the quiet beneath our mind. From here we create from within, using the circular form of the mandala* and a variety of collage and drawing materials, to express what is alive within us now.
* Mandalas – are circular forms seen everywhere in our universe. They symbolize wholeness and have been   used for centuries to access our divinity and find calm within.

Visual expression is innate to all of us and requires no special training. Following our intuitive senses – creative expression is a playful moment by moment unfolding experience. Meditation and creative expression strengthen the connection with our body and heart. They are portals to the peace and beauty that we truly are.

Elisabeth Moss BFA, LMT, Certified Expressive Art Facilitator, has been leading individuals and groups to connect with the joyand power of intuitive visual expression since 2002. She is an artist whose paintings are created from within, from a love of beautyand as a kind of visual prayer that nourishes her spirit. Practicing for the last 30 years as a licensed massage therapist, she is also a grateful devotee of meditation.
