Introduction to Qigong

Qigong (chi kung) is an ancient system of healing practices from China and was once called Taoist yoga. Qigong involves combining gentle movements, breath, and intention to cleanse, harmonize and circulate our energy. We will learn gentle warm-ups to awaken our energy, and strengthen and keep the body supple. Through delightful practices called “The Six Healing Sounds” and “The Inner Smile” we will bring positive energy to our organ system and have some fun in the process! This workshop is experiential and appropriate for all levels of ability.
