August 6 ~ Acclaimed poet and writer Aimee Nezhukumatathil.
Aimee is the author of three books of poetry: Lucky Fish (2011), winner of the Hoffer Grand Prize for Prose and Independent Books; At the Drive-In Volcano (2007); and Miracle Fruit (2003), Lucky Fish won the gold medal in Poetry for the Independent Publishers Book Awards and was featured in the New York Times and on the PBS NewsHour.
Festival Facts: Gates open at 4:30 pm. Preludes take place 5–6 pm. Music begins at 6:15 pm; Poetry begins at 7:30 pm. Venue: All performances are held rain or shine, under tents during inclement weather.
Admission: $15 per person, 18 and under free. Parking is free. Advance tickets for purchase ONLINE ONLY: $10 per person.
